A white tunic

It really looks much more magnificant that this. Happens to be on a somewhat half-hearted coat hanger.

The Coat with the Bow

One of the very first things I made. -Very much an experiment.

Afgani Nomad Dress

Adapted from a Folkwear pattern. It was a good way to use up fabric scraps.
Dad went into to his work shed and after just a little while had fashioned a special giant coat hanger out of wood.
Where the dress hangs off that vent is the only place that I think can support the weight. Our little wooden house doesn't lend itself well to hanging heavy creations.

The Black Dress

The Blue Dress

Also with a bib. I made this dress after the similar long sleeved brown one, this blue dress I made short sleeved and from light material, since it suddenly became very hot here.
You can see that I make use of the bib fabric quite a lot, so far it has appeared in several costumes.

The Mandarin's Costume

I purposly made the sleeves abnormally long, like a Mandarin's tunic.
As you can see, I ran out of the red fabric.

Dress of Brown Gauze

The Trousers

There is a small story to go along with these trousers.
Whilst roaming inside them one day I stepped inside a small vintage garment shop.
The shopkeeper exclaimed admiration for this unusual pair and that began a conversation, she was interested in what I could make and invited me to come back another time to show her things I've made. We will see.

The Brown Dress

I made this from brown corduroy turned inside out, I prefer the wrong side for its felt like feel.
That patch of contrasting fabric is called a bib. This has nothing to do with my eating habits.
